My last job of 2010

My last job of 2010 was for the immigration Lawyer Norton Tooby, new website to come. It's going to be up in a few months. His site is http://criminalandimmigrationlaw.com. We did a few formal portraits, location portraits at his office, details and 1 event. He was great to work with. He shared great stories. One of them was that he worked with the Black Panters in the 70's. How cool is that?

Paris, October 2010

This was my first time in Paris, the city of light. I had a great time, mostly because of my friends. I have the luck of having many friends living there. I  enjoyed their company and saw some of their favorite spots. Kika was a wonderful host to me and my sister at her small parisian apartment. We spent many days walking around, taking pictures, drinking tons of coffee, wine and beer.

This was the view from my window

Making Waves

Last weekend I photograph some of the kids for Making Wave. http://www.making-waves.org/. They had a bonfire to celebrate that all their kids are graduating this semester. Tose are some of the portraits I took. I think it is hilarious that some of the kids were so cold they could not put their blankets down when posing for the picture.

HOODS Recreational Group - skate club

Recently I photographed the Skate Club from Hoods Recreational Club. This is an awesome Organization founded by Antony Carranza that teaches out risk kids from SF some non conventional sports. Three years ago they started taking kids to Tahoe and teaching them snowboarding. This year they started a skate club sponcered by Zoo York, http://www.zooyork.com/blog/tenderloin-skate-club/

Dia de los Muertos SF

This Mexican holiday is celebrated in San Francisco every year on November 2nd. It's becoming more popular with time. I really dig all the costumes and skeleton make up. Since is the day of the dead, I need to holla at my lost peeps out there, mostly mom and Pedro. You will always be in my heart.

Winter

It's getting cold in San Francisco. I feel the winter arriving and now I'm starting to miss the winter in Rio. Mostly my little friend Pedro.

Cristal Films

While I was in Rio Last month, I worked on a movie. I did the still photos for "Vida Privada" By Cristal Films. It was a long day. We shot 8 hrs at the beach and the other 6 hrs at a bar. Luckily it was a 70' winter, not to hot. Perfect weather for shooting outside at the tropics.
